Range of Needs
Yorklea caters for up to 33 adults with differing needs ranging from adults 18+ with physical disabilities to adults whose primary conditions are related to ageing.
3 places are suitable for the needs of adults aged 18+ with physical disabilities/complex healthcare needs who require comprehensive medical, physical and mental health support (exclusive of challenging behaviour) and rehabilitation after hospital discharge or support to prevent hospital admission and 26 places are suitable to the needs of adults with conditions related to ageing, with/without healthcare needs.
25 places are in single rooms and 8 places are in shared rooms.
We cater for both female and male residents.
All new residents undergo a pre-admission assessment so that we can be certain that we can cater for their needs and to ensure that we can meet the expectations of the prospective resident.
We understand that Yorklea is more than a provider for care services, it is the chosen home of our residents and it is important to us that they quickly develop a sense of ownership. We recognise and respect the right of each resident to lead as independent and fulfilling a life as possible and place as much emphasis on social aspects as medical aspects.
Yorklea was awarded an excellent rating at it last CQC Inspection.
